Future Late at Tate Modern
'Tate Modern invites us to join them on Friday night for a special late-night event curated by young people from Tate Collective London. Digital technology meets lo-fi materials in a range of interactive activities and installations with emerging artists and creatives. Radar Radio will provide the music as part of special audio-visual display.'
Lola and My Future My Past have been selected to be included in both their digital display in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern and a series of window displays at Uniqlo flagship store, 311 Oxford Street. They mentioned that only a small number of submissions were selected for both displays. Artwork will be displayed (in printed format) in the shop windows, and in Uniqlo’s WearHouse space on the fourth floor.
The Tate Modern display will launch at Future Late on Friday 17 June and will continue throughout the opening weekend of the new Tate Modern on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June.
They will be showing my artwork digitally through an installation of TV screens in the Turbine Hall. On Friday night at Future Late they will also be projecting some selected artworks. Due to the number of submissions included, they cannot tell me which screen my work will appear on. All content will be looped, allowing plenty of opportunities for us to see our work within the display.
